An Introductory Course to Watercolor
Has watercolor always fascinated you? Have you ever wanted to capture a moment in time in a sketchbook? Do you want to paint like your favorite artist? This is the place to start!
Monday -Friday 3/17 - 3/22
Come for one session, or all of them!
No drawing skills are required.
Paper and paint will be provided. Some supplies will need to be purchased separately.

Day 1: In watercolor we trust (a focus on watercolor control/techniques/materials)
Day 2: Color Mixing (a focus on cool + warm colors, and how to simplify a palette)
Day 3: Value Triumphs Color (a focus on light and shadows while keeping transparency)
Day 4: Skin Tones (a focus on getting accurate skin color)
Day 5: Line and Wash (a focus on capturing scenes quickly with ink and watercolor)
3/22 or 3/23: Group Plein Air (last group lesson painting outside if weather permits)
